A little bit of Benin

I’ve lived here in Cotonou for 8 months and I’ve definitely come to like this place more and more. It’s in the colourful fabric, the bountiful fresh foods at the market, the smiling friendliness of the ladies selling at their side walk stalls. The way our patients dance often, whenever there’s a small reason or excuse to move, its enough. The way the shoulders bob and their bootys hop. I love it! I’ve found the best Indian food in Benin and possibly even better than in SA. The lazy weekends at Bab’s Dock socking up some sun and fresh air and the couple of cycling adventures around town which are always sensational have made it memorable. I want to show you some of my favourite pictures.
